Gas smell hospitalizes 7 in New Jersey
NEW YORK, Jan 8 (Reuters) The natural gas smell that permeated much of Manhattan and parts of New Jersey hospitalized seven people in New Jersey today, officials said.
''Seven people presented to the emergency room, six in Hudson County, one in Bergen County, complaining of symptoms relating to the odor,'' said Nathan Rudy, a spokesman for the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
