Folk artists felicitated in Bihar

Patna, Jan 9 (UNI) Bihar Assembly Speaker Udai Narayan Choudhry today exhorted the artists and cultural activists to cooperate in reviving the lost glory of the state.

After felicitating over 40 artists, mainly of folk music, Mr Choudhry said the artists had an important role in construction of society and asked them to cooperate in the mission for changing the face of the state.

He said the artists, who were honoured, had displayed their art and enthralled the gathering on the occasion of the two-day orientation programme organised last year on February 6 and 7.
