Five injured Deer saved
Mysore, Jan 9 (UNI) Five injured deers, abandoned at Chamundi Hills by unknown people, were saved by forest officials today.
Chamundi Hills Forest Range Officer Md Jaffer said that two male and three female deer, with injuries, were found abandoned at the Forest Guest House last night by unknown persons. One of the deer was found badly hurt as its horns had been removed.
It was suspected that they were abandoned due to injury and the owner could not provide treatment.
The deers were provided treatment and after their recovery, they will be handed over to Zoo authorities or left in the forest.
