Bomb hoax disrupts Bardoli court proceedings at Surat

Surat, Jan 9 (UNI) The Bardoli Magistrate's court proceedings were today disrupted following a hoax call claiming that a bomb was planted in the court.

An unidentified caller rang up the administrative section of Bardoli Magistrate Court in the afternoon and claimed that a bomb had been planted in the Court.

The matter was reported to the authorities who immediately evacuated the place and conducted a meticulous search with the bomb and dog squad, police said.

However, the call proved out to be a hoax, they added.
