AP CM lays foundation stone for VIMS

Visakhapatnam, Jan 9: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy yesterday laid the foundation stone for Visakha Institute of Medical Sciences(VIMS) for Rs 120 crore in the city.

The Chief Minister said VIMS would be developed on the lines of NIMS at Hyderabad.

Dr Reddy said the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant(VST) would be expanded at an investment of Rs 8,600 crore. A greenfield petrochemical complex was also on the card, he added.
