Amritsar records 0.4 degrees celsius
Jalandhar, Jan 9(UNI) Amritsar recorded the minimum temperature at 0.4 degrees celsius to be the coldest place in Punjab even as week long cold wave continued unabated during the past 24 hours.
An Official Spokesman quoting Air Force Met Centre data, said that Jalandhar's Adampur air port where the mercury plunged below the freezing point for the past one week, recorded at one degree celsius this morning.
Pathankot and Ludhiana also continued to reel under cold wave, recording the minimum temperatures at 2.6 degrees and 4.0 degrees celsius respectively, the spokesman added.
