2 prisoners flee from police custody

Mathura, Jan 9 (UNI) Two prisoners escaped from police custody in a hospital under Kotwali police station area in this district of Uttar Pradesh today.

History-sheeters Dharamveer and Shyamveer were arrested last night under the Narcotics Act and were being taken to district hospital this morning.

Senior Superintendent of Police said two constable Narendra Kumar and Umesh Chandra have been suspended for negligence while at duty.
