2 die in an accident as truck runs amok

Anand, Jan 9 (UNI) Two men died on the spot, when a truck coming from Ahmedabad hit them and fled at 1230 hrs yesterday.

The deceased have been identified as - Arvindbhai Jesinbhai and Manubhai Dikshit of Nani Shahpur village. The duo were drinking tea sitting on a motorcycle at a roadside stall on the highway, when the truck hit them and disappeared in the darkness, police said.

The incident occurred at Kathlal chowkdi of Kheda district, police added.
