Valsala bags Chandu Menon award

Kannur, Jan 8 (UNI) Novelist P Valsala bagged the second O Chanthu Menon award Instituted by the Malayala Bhasha Padasala.

The award carries a cash prize, citation and a sculpture and would be presented at Thalassery on January 14.

Ms Valsala was chosen by a jury consisting of Writer M T Vasudevan Nair and poets O N V Kurup and Sugathakumari.
