Three persons arrested in murder cases
Hyderabad, Jan 8 (UNI) City police have arrested three persons for thier alleged involvement in murder cases on the outskirts of the state.
Police sources said labourers, B Ramulu and Pavan Yadav, both in their mid-20s, had confessed to killing people for their money.
Another accused Venkatesh from Bihar had also been arrested. He was being questioned in a murder case at Rajendranagar police limits.
The accused used to visit toddy shops where they spotted people who were drunk. They would lure them to isolated places on the pretext of introducing them to prostitutes or buying more liquor. On reaching the spot, they would remove their clothes and kill them.
Then they would decamp with the victims cash or gold, police said.
Rajendranagar ACP Mahipal Reddy said police were investigating the cases to find out whether the accused were involved in more murder cases.
