TDP stages dharna protesting non-supply of ration

Hyderabad, Jan 8 (UNI) The opposition Telegu Desam Party(TDP) today staged a darna here protesting against non-supply of essential commodities to the poor on ration cards.

Speakers at the dharna alleged that while the prices of essential commodities were sky-rocketing, the dealers were diverting these commodities to the black market. The party also demanded that the number of ration cards should be enhanced in view of issuance of more ration cards.

The TDP warned the Government that it would intensify its agitation, if things were not set right within a week.
