National Kabaddi Competition in MP from Jan 19

Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, Jan 8 (UNI) Fifty teams from 22 states are expected to take part in a six-day National Kabaddi Competition for men and women starting from January 19 here, which is hosting the event for the first time.

The Competition, being organised by the School Games Federation of India, will be under the aegis of the Madhya Pradesh government's Public Instruction Department.

''Teams from faraway states such as Manipur, Sikkim and Assam are scheduled to arrive,'' District Collector Rajkumar Pathak told UNI.

Comprehensive arrangements are being made for the boarding and lodging of about 1,000 participants besides organising cultural programmes.
