Mandsaur cow slaughter politicised

Mandsaur, MP, Jan 8 (UNI) Condemning the recent large-scale cow slaughter in this district, Congress leader and former minister Narendra Nahta has demanded strict action against the guilty.

''My party is ready to extend full cooperation to the administration in this regard,'' he told mediapersons here.

Alleging that other objectionable activities also took place, Mr Nahta added that it was unjust to inflict losses on small-scale traders by calling a bandh in protest against the slaughter.

''The administration was tardy in acting against those responsible for the cow slaughter,'' he said.
