JK legislators pay homage to Ex-MLAs on day one

Jammu, Jan 8 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Assembly today paid homage to the former state legislators (MLAs), while the day one proceedings of both the Houses was adjourned for the brainstorming of the forthcoming budget session.

Assembly Speaker Tara Chand made obituary references on the demise of Mr Saif-ud-din Dar, Mr Mohammad Ibrahim Dar and Mr Raunaq Singh who expired recently.

Meanwhile, just after the obituary references, the Legislative Council was adjourned by Chairman Abdul Rashid Dar.
