Infosys, HVS to offer industry outsourcing solutions

Bangalore, Jan 8 (UNI) Infosys BPO, the business process outsourcing subsidiary of Infosys Technologies, and HVS International, a leading New York-based consultancy firm, have announced a strategic alliance to offer outsourcing solutions to the hospitality industry.

The Infosys BPO-HVS global alliance would leverage on HVS' consulting expertise and market reach in the hospitality industry and the process outsourcing capabilities of Infosys BPO to develop and execute domain-specific, predictable and process-centric solutions to improve productivity and optimise costs for companies in the global hospitality industry.

Infosys BPO CEO and Managing Director Amitabh Chaudhry said in a release here today that ''the alliance with HVS augments Infosys BPO's capabilities in the hospitality industry by enhancing our insights into the industry and enabling us to reach a wider audience.'' Infosys BPO had a strong portfolio of horizontal process outsourcing capabilities and these were customised for specific industry verticals to provide domain-specific and company-specific solutions, he said.
