Germany says concerned over pipeline closure
BERLIN, Jan 8 (Reuters) Germany is concerned about the closure of a Russian oil pipeline carrying supplies through Belarus and expects deliveries to resume in full as soon as possible, Economy Minister Michael Glos said today.
''I view the closure of the important Druzhba pipeline with concern,'' Glos said in a statement. ''I expect the deliveries through the pipeline to resume completely as soon as possible.'' Glos said the closure had not been dramatic for Germany so far given reserves at the affected German refineries, but called on Russia and Belarus to meet their energy transit and delivery responsibilities.
