Five radio stations to be set up in NE

Aizawl, Jan 8 (UNI) Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will set up five more community radio stations in the North East by next financial year.

Refering to the Ministry's decision State Information and Public Relations official here today said one radio station would be set up in Mizoram and two each in Meghalaya and Nagaland.

Northeastern states have been demanding more community radio stations since long, he said.
