FCI manager convicted in DA case
Bhopal, Jan 8 (UNI) A special court of Ujjain has sentenced three years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 10,000 to Food Corporation of India's District Manager Ramnath Singh for possession of assets disproportionate to his income.
An additional fine of Rs 4.23 lakh was also imposed on him for possessing assets in excess of his income.
In a raid at his Ujjain residence in 1999, the Lokayukta officials found that he was in possession of movable and immovable assets worth Rs 16.83 lakh, official sources said.
