DDA auctions 24 residential plots, pockets over Rs 56 cr

New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) Delhi Development Authority today auctioned 24 residential plots located in North Delhi's Model Town area and mopped up more than Rs 56 crore in the bargain.

The plots -- 21 measuring 300 sq m and the others 270 sq m -- were sold for Rs 56.726 crore against a reserve price of Rs 28.393 crore, a statement said.

The authority would continue auction of residential plots in Model Town, Vikaspuri, Jasola Pocket II, Prashant Vihar, Ashok Vihar Phase II and Naraina Vihar in the next three days.
