Cong open to seat sharing with CPI, CPI(M) in Punjab
New Delhi, Jan 8 (UNI) The Congress today said it was open to any seat-sharing proposal from the CPI and the CPI(M) for contesting the assembly elections in Punjab.
''Like-minded parties are welcome'' to contest the polls jointly with the Congress, party spokesman Satyabrat Chaturvedi told reporters.
Replying to questions, he said the Maharashtra Congress was in touch with the NCP to sort out problems in seat sharing for the local bodies elections.
