CCB to ask court for subjecting terrorist to narco-analysis test

Bangalore, Jan 8 (UNI) The City Crime Branch (CCB) police, who had arrested a Pakistan-trained terrorist Imran alias Bilal Ahmed Kota last week with a huge cache of arms, will approach the court for subjecting him to narco-analysis test.

According to police sources, preliminary investigations by the CCB sleuths, who have taken Imran into custody, have revealed that the arrested had made as many as eight calls to Pakistan in his satellite phone and passed on vital information to terrorist outfits.

The Maharashtra, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh police are likely to come here soon to question Imran, the sources said.

It may be recalled here that the CCB police had on January five last arrested Imran, a Kashmiri youth, during transit when he came to the city in a private bus from Hospet. An AK-47 rifle, few grenades and city map with markings on several vital installations were seized from him. The terrorist had been running a handicrafts shop at Hampi in Bellary district for the last five years.
