Bollywood producer Baldev Pushkarna passes away

Mumbai, Jan 8 (UNI) Noted producer of the highly acclaimed film 'Page 3' and yesteryear hit 'Chacha Bhatija', Baldev Pushkarna died here after a cardiac arrest.

He was 77 and is survived by his wife, two daughters and two sons.

Speaking to UNI, his daughter Veena Pushkarna said ''My dad passed away yesterday afternoon after a cardiac arrest in his sleep''.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 0900 hrs after return of her brother Bobby from London.

According to Industry sources, Bobby is on his way to Mumbai from London and is expected to land in Mumbai by the late night flight.

Baldev produced hit films like 'Roop Tera Mastana' in 1972, 'Chacha Bhatija' in 1977, 'Khuda Kasam' in 1981, 'Do Dilon Ki Dastaan' in 1985 and 'Paapi Devta'in 1995.
