BJP MLA Manohar Azgaonkar resigns

Panaji, Jan 8 (UNI) Manohar Azgaonkar, a Bharatiya Janata Party MLA from Dhargal, a reserved constituency here, resigned today.

Talking to UNI, Mr Azgaonkar said he is likely to join the Congress.

Mr Azgaonkar has submitted his resignation with to Goa Legislative Assembly Speaker Francisco Sardinha.

The MLA did not give any reason for the resignation but said he wants to complete work in his constituency.
