Bandh against cow slaughter in Chittorgarh dist

Chittorgarh, Jan 8 (UNI) Chittor, Badi Sadri, Aarnot and Dalot towns in Chittorgarh district are observing a bandh today in protest against the recent slaughter of 200 cows in neighbouring Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.

The bandh call has been given by Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janshakti Party.

According to police, the bandh is being observed peacefully. A strong posse of Police has been deployed in the area.
