two Jaish militants killed in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 7 (UNI) Security forces killed two militants of the Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in an ambush at Charar-e- Sharief in central Kashmir today, police said.
They said police and Border Security Force (BSF) personnel laid an ambush at Dalwan in Charar-e-Sharief area following a specific information regarding presence of militants in the village.
Two militants who were caught in the ambush started firing indiscriminately on security forces, police added.
In the retaliatory fire, they said two Jaish militants were gunned down.
The slain ultras have been identified as Shabir Ahmed Rather and Muzammil Jehadi. Two AK-47 rifles along with six magazines were also seized from them.
