Three killed as truck plunges into river

Lucknow, Jan 7 (UNI) At least three people were feared killed when a truck in which they were travelling plunged into a river in the Sonebhadra district of Uttar Pradesh this morning.

Police said here the truck carrying sand, plunged into river Sone near Chaupan area. Three people, including a woman were on board the vehicle.

So far bodies of the victims have not been fished out. Police said the chances of their survival were thin.
