Star buses to hit Jabalpur, Gwalior

Bhopal, Jan 7 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said that the Bus Rapid Transit System (BRTS)-based Star buses service, operating in the state capital and at Indore, would soon be extended to Jabalpur and Gwalior.

Mr Chouhan inaugurated a BRTS seminar here.

Prof Geetam Tiwari, from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, presented a research paper on BRTS in different countries.

''BRTS brings down the number of mishaps,'' she claimed.

Among those present were Chief Secretary Rakesh Sahani, Director-General of Police Anand Rao Pawar and Mayor Sunil Sood.
