Slight tremor hits Gujarat

New Delhi, Jan 7 (UNI) An earthquake of slight intensity today shook Gujarat's Kachchh region today.

The tremor, measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale, occurred at 2038 hrs (IST) and was epicentred at 23.7 degrees north latitude and of 70.2 degrees east longitude, India Meteorological Department statement said.

Ir said there was no report of any loss to life or property.
