Scribes feted on Journalist Day in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Jan 7 (UNI) Aurangabad Zilla Marathi Patrakar Sangh (AZMPS) felicitated several journalists, including leading Marathi daily Dainik Sakal's Executive Editor Jayant Mahajan, for their remarkable contribution to journalism on the occasion of Journalist Day at a special function held here.

The other journalists felicitated on the occasion yesterday included M P Joshi (UNI), Sanjiv Unhhale (Maharashtra Times), Baba Gade (Mahanayak), Nitin Gaikwad and Devendra Inamdar (Sakal).

Aurangabad Municipal Commissioner (AMC) Mayor Dr Bhagwat Karad was the chief guest at the function. It was attended by the AZMPS president Balaji Suryawanshi and its secretary Sanjay Varkad.

Prominent journalists from various newspapers and media were present on the occasion.
