Lecturers Assn threatens stir

Puducherry,Jan 7(UNI) The Lecturers Association here today threatened to boycott the forthcoming plus two internal and practical examinations to press their demands.

They were demanding among other things 50 per cent reservation for in the appointments of headmasters of high schools and filling up vacancies for the posts of vice-principal.

In a release, Association President S K Subramanian said their boycott of correction of half yearly examination papers continued.

The association would observe a day's fast infront of the Education Department here on January ten this month to press their demands.
