Fire in Kashmir forests

Srinagar, Jan 7 (UNI) A fire broke out in some forest areas of Baramulla district in north Kashmir today, police said.

They said fire broke out in forests adjacent to Azadpora and Ifshanpora villages and soon spread to the adjoining areas.

Police said senior officials of the Forest Department were immediately informed.

Police and fire personnel brought the raging blaze under control after few hours, they added.
