Court issues warrant against BCCI vice-president

Jaipur, Jan 7 (UNI) A city court has issued arrest warrant against BCCI vice-president and Rajasthan Cricket Association president Lalit Modi for failing to respond to summons on him.

Anil Shekawat and Basant Haryan have accused Mr Modi, his bodyguards Sujit and RCA members Amin Pathan and Kuldeep Shrivastava of misbehaving, insulting and manhandling them during the extraordinary general body meeting(EGM) of the Rajasthan Cricket Association held on November 19.

The court had issued summons on them on Saturday to appear before it, failing which arrest warrants were issued against them. Police has been asked to produce them on January 18.
