Moga, Jan 7 (UNI) The All India Sikh Students Federation(Grewal) would be playing an important role to bring Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) and its alliance partner BJP in power by defeating Congress in the assembly elections to be held on February 13.

This was announced here today by AISSF (Grewal) president Gurcharan Singh Grewal while talking to newspersons at a local gurdwara after holding a meeting of the district unit activists of the Federation.

The Federation, according to Grewal, has decided to constitute an 11-member committee from each assembly constituency. These committees would mobilise public opinion beside acting as coordinator between the candidate and the organisation.

Mr Grewal criticised the Congress government for allegedly misusing official machinery in its favour.

In reply to a question, Mr Grewal welcomed the decision of releasing second list of 24 candidates by the SAD (Badal) yesterday which provided good representation to the youths.
