7 killed in fresh violence in Upper Asom

Guwahati, Jan 7 (UNI) Seven people were killed and three injured in an ULFA attack in Dibrugarh district of Asom today, police sources said.

The sources said ULFA militants, on a motorcycle, came to a brick klin factory at Khagorijan near Sepon in Dibrugarh district and fired upon migrant Bihari labourers killing seven of them. Three seriously injured labourers were sent to Asom Medical College(AMC).

With this incident, the death toll has gone up to 55 in the last three days of killings by ULFA. Curfew has been imposed in Tinsukia sub division tonight and the Army given shoot at sight orders.
