12 children injured in stampede in Mumbai

Mumbai, Jan 7: As many as twelve children were injured in astampede during a ''Mini Marathon'' run organized at the BandraReclamation Centre in suburban Mumbai here this morning.

According to Bandra police, the injuries received by children were minor and no complaints had been registered in this regard.

Around 1000 children from parts of the Island city had assembledat the Reclamation Centre for the marathon, which was attended by actorKunal Kapoor and other tele artistes.
