12 children injured in stampede

Mumbai, Jan7 (UNI) As many as twelve children were injured in a stampede during a ''Mini Marathon'' run organized at the Bandra Reclamation Centre in suburban Mumbai here this morning.

According to Bandra police, the injuries received by children were minor and no complaints had been registered in this regard.

Around 1000 children from parts of the Island city had assembled at the Reclamation Centre for the marathon, which was attended by actor Kunal Kapoor and other tele artistes.
