WR to operate night block at Naigaon station
Mumbai, Jan 6 (UNI) The Western Railway (WR) will operate a major block on the night of January 8 at Naigaon station to undertake quadrupling work between Borivali and Vasai Road stations.
WR sources said the block will be undertaken for slewing of tracks and commissioning of new Up local line and platform number two at Naigaon station. It will start at 2305 hrs and continue till 0405 hrs the next day.
Due to the block, six suburban trains during the period will be cancelled, while eight were partially cancelled. Even long distance mail and express trains will also be delayed by 30 minutes.
