Under trails abscond from sub-jail in AP

Machilipatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 6 (UNI) A notorious under trial Tadiparthi Rama Rao and his associate absconded from Nuzvid Sub-Jail in Krishna district this afternoon.

According to police, the two criminals were brought from the cell for lunch. Taking advantage, the duo attacked the two guards and a jail warden with firewood sticks. Later the criminals confined the guards and warden in the cell and made their escape, the source said.

Police were vigorously searching nearby Mango gardens and surrounding villages of Nuzvid to nab the criminals.

Later, Krishna District Superintendent of Police M K Singh rushed to Nuzvid with additional forces from district headquarters.
