Unanimous elections to UNI employees union, Mumbai, held

Mumbai, Jan 6 (UNI) The UNI Employees Union, Mumbai, today unanimously elected the entire team of five office-bearers and as many executive committee members for the year 2007-08.

Mr S T Thakur, Mr P V Nair, Mr C P Jha and Mr Sanjay W Pednekar were re-elected to the posts of president, vice president, general secretary, and treasurer respectively. Mr Mahesh Rajput will be the new joint secretary.

The executive committee comprises of Mr G B Apgunde, Mr P Rajagopalan, Mr Ashok M Mhadgut, Mr Subhash N Matlane and Mr P L Chafe. Mr Maxie Gonsalves was the returning officer.
