Three get lifer in dowry death

Patna, Jan 6(UNI) Additional district and sessions judge of Patna Ram Pravesh Sharma today awarded life imprisonment to three people in a dowry death case.

According to the charges, victim Sunita Devi succumbed to her burn injuries at PMCH Patna caused by the convicts on February 10, 1997 following failure to fulfill the demands of dowry.

Convicts were-- Munna Lal Khatri(husband), Radhe Krishns Khatri (father-in-law) and Sulochna Devi(Mother-in-law)--all residents of Chhoti Bazar Mohalla of Khajekalla police station area of Patna.
