TDP leader expresses sorrow over fire incident

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (UNI) Opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president and former state Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today expressed sorrow over the fire accident in which six persons were burnt alive in Nizamabad District.

According to a press release here, Mr Naidu attributed the human loss in the accident to delay in response on the part of the Fire Services personnel even as villagers informed the officials concerned.

Demanding the government announce ex-gratia to the families of the victims, he said the government should also take action on the Fire Service authorities for not responding immediately.
