Star Luminary claims Bangalore Oaks

Bangalore, Jan 6 (UNI) Public choice 'Star Luminary', ridden by Jockey B Prakash, easily won the Bangalore Oaks, the main event of the Winter meeting here today.

The property is owned by Dr M A M Ramaswamy and trained by S Ganapathy.

Trainer Ganapathy, Jockeys Prakash and K P G Appu had a brace each.

Punters had a mixed day, with five favourites obliging in a card of eight events.
