Police injured in bomb explosion

Jagdalpur, Jan 6 (UNI) Three police jawans were today injured when a bomb exploded while it was being defused in Bastar district of Chhattisgarh, police said.

Inspector-General (Bastar Range) R K Vij said CRPF jawans had gone out for patrolling from Kurusnar camp when they spotted a bomb three km away from the camp.

CRPF jawans Pradeep Kumar Paikra and bomb disposal squad's Gauri Dev and Bindeshwari Sinha were injured.

Two jawans were sent to Raipur for treatment, while one was admitted to Narayanpur hospital.
