Police constable at Pawar's rally commits suicide

Pune, Jan 6 (UNI) A police constable on duty at NCP president Sharad Pawar's rally allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service revolver tonight at the Sarasbaug Grounds here.

Police have identified the deceased as Santosh Madavi (30), hailing from Chandrapur village. He was an athlete and had participated in several sporting events, they added.
