Nitish asks Asom CM to ensure security of Biharis
Patna, Jan 6 (UNI) Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condemned the killing of Bihari labourers by suspected ULFA militants in Asom yesterday and requested Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi to ensure foolproof security for them.
Mr Kumar said he had telephonic talks with Mr Gogoi who assured him of taking steps to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
''A delegation of ministers and legislators from Bihar would soon visit Asom to assess the security arrangement made for the people of Bihari origin,'' he added.
More than 10 Bihari labourers were killed at different places by suspected United Liberation Front of Asom militants yesterday.
