NEDCAP stall inaugurated

Hyderabad, Jan 6 (UNI)The Non-Conventional Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Limited (NEDCAP) Chairman Sagi Durga Prasad Raju inaugurated a stall at the 67th All India Industrial Exhibition, 2007 here today.

In his address, Mr Raju said the stall was aimed at creating awareness among the general public about the usage of the solar systems.

Due to awareness among the villagers about usage of solar systems, Baisanvaripally Village in Chittoor District shot to fame becoming the first smokeless village in the country.

He called upon the rural folk to follow suit and make villages pollution-free by putting in use the solar systems made available on subsidy by the government.
