Little progress in Indian housemaid's disappearance case
Dubai, Jan 6 (UNI) British police investigating the case of a missing housemaid from India has reported a little progress.
Maria Pereira, 46 went missing while on a visit to Britain with her Bahrain employer.
An investigating officer said Maria disappeared after being dropped at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Henley-on-Thames, Oxon on December 3, 2006.
A detective from Henley-on-Thames police said they are not sure whether she is in the UK or India.
Henley-on-Thames police searched the grounds of the family's home in the village of Nettlebed and sent divers into the River Thames.
The mother-of-three had worked for the Bahraini couple for several years in Bahrain and had travelled with them to Nettlebed on various occasions.
