Injured police constable died in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 6 (UNI) A constable of Jammu and Kashmir police, who was injured in a militant attack recently, died in a hospital this morning, an official spokesman said.
He said constable Chand Mohammad, who received serious bullet wounds during an attack on Station House Officer (SHO) of police station Pampore, about 12 km from here in south Kashmir on December 30, died in a hospital.
SHO Manzoor Ahmad and another civilian Jan Mohammad died on the spot in the firing.
Pakistan based militant outfit Lashker-e-Toiba (LeT) has claimed responsibility for the attack.
