I am disappointed, I wanted to win title:Moya
Chennai, Jan 6 (UNI) The centre court crowd may not turn out in good number for the Chennai Open final on the morrow, what with two of the stars they loved bowing out tamely.
But like Rafael Nadal, his fellow countryman Carlos Moya too blamed himself for the straight set defeat in the semi finals.
He played a great match, the twice winner and last year's runner up in Chennai Open, Moya averred at the post match press conference.
''I really wanted to win this match and the title again,'' he lamented.
''These things happen. Everyday is different on the court.
Yesterday I had to be patient. Today there were many rallies. I didn't play at my best. But he was good,'' Moya, who is hoping to put himself back in the top 20 this year, said.
Moya said he was also sorry that he had disappointed the crowd losing badly. ''The crowd has been supporting me so much throught out the week''.
''I am sorry I disappointed them,'' he added.
