FCI staff opposes staff reduction

Imphal, Jan 6 (UNI) The Food Corporation of India employees at Manipur today staged a sit in protest in front of the FCI office here demanding an immediate stop of arbitrary staff reduction.

The stir organised by FCI executive staff union.

They have demanded the withdrawal of decision to abolish 2448 entry level posts and promotion to those who have completed 12 years of service.

Besides, they have also demanded to strengthen the security belt by recruiting more security personnels.
